The monthly meeting for December is scheduled for this Thursday, December 15 from 3:45-4:45 p.m. in the Main Commons. Please make carpool arrangements before the meeting. Plan to be picked up no time.

The November monthly meeting will take place this Thursday, November 17 in the MPR from 3:45 p.m.-4:45 p.m. Officers will welcome new members and discuss upcoming service opportunities. We will also be completing the November service project.
If you are a newly accepted member and also involved in the DUKE Tip classes, it is up to you to decide which extracurricular to attend, but we encourage you to please plan to attend the NJHS meeting for an hour and then attend the last hour of DUKE Tip.
service hours opportunity
Poe Elementary School is hosting its annual Carnival on Saturday, October 29th, and they would love to have Pin Oak students volunteer. Help is needed to set up from 4:00 – 7:00pm on Friday, October 28th, as well as during the Carnival between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29th. See one of the advisors for more details!

Letters of invitation will be delivered to students who qualify for NJHS beginning Monday, October 24. Please see Ms. Reid, Ms. Abrahamson or Ms. Davis if you have any questions.

Please bring $20 for dues if you have not already paid. We will discuss upcoming service ideas and opportunities for involvement in the community.

The first meeting of the 2011-2012 school year will be held Thursday, September 15 in the Multi Purpose Room (MPR). Start time is 3:45, and we will end at 4:45. Please arrange rides accordingly so you are picked up on time! We will use the meeting for officer election speeches and other new business. If you are interested in running for an officer position, please complete the attached officer candidate questionnaire and bring it to the meeting. Also attached is an officer description page.

Mason Park Family Field Day Flyer – April 23
